Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has invited applications for admission to postgraduate and PhD courses in Design, for the upcoming academic year 2010-2011. For the purpose, the institute conducts Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED). CEED is an all-India level qualifying examination, conducted for admission to Master of Design (M.Des) Programs at IIT Bombay, IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati and IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D. programs in Design in some of the aforementioned institutes.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form for CEED 2010 from the website: www.iitb.ac.in/gate. Before filling the form online, the candidate will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 950 (Rs.475 for SC/ST/PD applicants) in the form of a Demand Draft. He/she should draw the DD in favor of 'IIT Bombay', payable at Mumbai. The Draft should be valid till 6 months. He/she should enter the DD details, while filling the form online. The application form should be filled strictly as per the instructions given in the website.
The print-out of the duly filled online application form shall be submitted either by post or in person. The candidate can submit the print out of the duly filled application form, along with DD and essential enclosures, either in person at the counter of GATE Office, IIT Bombay, or by sending it to GATE Office, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai- 400076.
